A little bit about who we are and how we got here...
Our story is about how we as a company have changed focus, shifting away from a very loose financially targeted business to become one which has a new clearly defined purpose.
We have actually never chased the pound, never had financial targets in place but on occasions glance at the financials if only to give us a rough indication how we are performing. Instead we’ve actually been driven by making people happy, both ourselves and the people around us, we just didn’t fully understand that profit wasn’t the driving factor behind our company until recently.
I’m convinced that we wouldn’t have been working for 40 years if we didn’t find some pleasure in working on these particular cookers, but our love comes more from the impact these Aga’s have on the lives of their owners.
It’s clear to see that Aga Cookers divide peoples opinions, they are either loved or hated, very rarely do you find people who have a ‘take them or leave them’ type attitude. You won’t be surprised to hear that we fall on the side of people who love them….and we always have done!
To us, Aga Cookers are much greater than the sum of their parts, they are much more than just a cooker. It’s actually extremely difficult to work out their value in a home because it’s like trying to work out the ROI of your mother. These cast iron cookers are a provider of ‘happiness’ to families on a daily basis and very often over generations, putting a figure on this happiness is tricky.
From the outside it appears we are Independant Aga Cooker engineers and nothing more, but it wasn’t until recently that we realised that our main service we provide is actually something quite different.
We as a company are actually in the business of delivering happiness to customers, it just so happens that we operate in the Aga Cooker industry.
Now we fully understand what we are delivering we have been able to re-defined our objectives, which will allow us to accelerate our growth, not so much in terms of the area we cover but more in the level of service we are able to provide.
Our aim is to deliver happiness at every opportunity possible, to both the staff that work along side us and the customers who rely on us. If we can improve and increase the levels of happiness we deliver on a daily basis we will reach our target of becoming the best company for delivering happiness in our industry!
We’ve only just started our journey but we’re thrilled with the inroads we’ve made in a few shorts months.
